ASISTIM offers computer optimized flight planning using the EDS axsFlightPlan application, which co-ordinates and optimizes aircraft routes, speed, fuel and flight plan calculations, pilot information and other flight related functions. Dispatch uses this flight planning application in conjunction with Flight Globe - a unique dispatching tool for flight watch and in-flight analysis that allows for constant monitoring of actual and planned flight positions.
ATC Slot Management
One problem when operating in dense and complex airspace subject to regulation when demand exceeds airspace capacity are the conflicts can arise between flight schedules and airlines' on-time performance, especially when operating tight schedules with minimum turn around times. ASISTIM has acquired in-depth knowledge over many years in airspace management and air traffic management, giving it the know-how to optimize and ensure high levels of aircraft utilization and on-time performance through precise ATC slot management.
Flight Crew Briefing System
ASISTIM offers an enhanced web-based crew briefing system, which produces a comprehensive set of flight-related briefing documents with worldwide coverage of weather and NOTAMS. It includes company procedures and bulletins as well as additional weather charts such as icing, turbulence, lightning, and cyclone information.
