ASISTIM also provides customer airlines with the axsFlightPlan application from EDS for their own local flight dispatching. This allows customers to maximize use of the application, and benefit from all the sustainable advantages without having to support the system with a back office. ASISTIM provides you with access to the application, maintains all company and seasonal data, coordinates your requirements for future development, and represents your interest at user conferences etc..
Back office system support scope:
- Administration of all parameter settings for automatic flight plan calculation. Such as weather minima and NOTAM checking
- Development and maintenance of a route database, including alternate route database using official sources of information including AIP's, RAD, SRD's, AIC's, NOTAM etc.
- Provision of monthly AIRAC update of the route and nav.-database.
- Storage of company routes according to seasonal timetables.
- Loading of existing sets of company routes into the flight planning system.
- Performance Data Loading into the flight planning system.
- Aircraft Data Loading into the flight planning system
- Operational flight plan layout modifications and adjustments
- Alternate database listing of all routes to customer destinations.
- Airport fleet type database administration.
- Selection of alternates per fleet type to be used by the alternate database.
- Remarks database sorted by airport, tail number and flight number.
- Any remarks useful for crew including frequencies, fuel supplier, aircraft defects etc.
- Support for customers' commercial department in obtaining, payload estimated block times, block times, and traffic rights.
- Diplomatic clearance database. Dip clear numbers to be shown on flight plan and/or ATS filing strip.
