ASISTIM and Blue Air have signed a long term agreement for the provision of Flight Support Services based on the HP Flight Planning System. Blue Air is the first Romanian airline that operated low-cost flights with 100% Romanian private capital. The company commenced its first flight on December 13th, 2004. The aim of the Blue Air Company is to transform air transport into a service accessible for all categories of passengers.
At present, the Blue Air fleet consists of nine modern aircrafts, Boeing 737, three 737-300 series and two 737-400, one 737-500, three 737-800 with capacities between 136 and 189 seats. Blue Air has contracts with the Boeing Company for 9 Next Generation aircrafts 800 series and 900 ER series.
